Unwind with a mid-week nature walk in Riverview Park! Mid June should be beautiful weather to take in the sights and sounds of this beautiful Hannibal park.
Meet at the picnic tables at the end of Frisbee Field for this nature walk. Open up your senses to the whispering trees, summer breezes and quiet murmurs of what’s around this time of year. The benefits of taking time in nature are well documented and can last much longer than the actual time spent outside.
Nature programs give us the chance to build a lifelong connection to the environment. Hannibal Parks and Recreation is offering several nature programs in June for people of all ages. The programs are led by HPR nature interpreter Gale Rublee and members of the Mississippi Hills chapter of the Missouri Master Naturalists. Programs are free due to sponsorship of Hannibal BASF but signup is required at www.hannibalparks.org.
