Join Hannibal Parks and Recreation for this Bird Walk in Sodalis Nature Preserve on Saturday, June 20th.
Bring binoculars and check out the Merlin Bird App for learning bird calls. Beginner and experienced birders welcome. (This is an easy, slow walk on the flat parts of the paved trail and covers about a mile) Nature programs give us the chance to build a lifelong connection to the environment. Hannibal Parks and Recreation is offering several nature programs in June for people of all ages. The programs are led by HPR nature interpreter Gale Rublee and members of the Mississippi Hills chapter of the Missouri Master Naturalists. Programs are free due to sponsorship of Hannibal BASF but signup is required at www.hannibalparks.org.
