It's an exciting time to listen and observe the birds at the Sodalis Nature Preserve! Some birds are still migrating through and summer residents are establishing territory and building nests. Bring binoculars and check out the Merlin Bird App for learning bird calls. Beginner and experienced birders welcome.
Meet at the Shelter off the parking lot on Ely Street.
This is an easy, slow walk on the flat parts of the paved trail and covers about a mile. Programs are led by Hannibal Parks and Recreation’s Nature Interpreter, Gale Rublee, and members of the Mississippi Hills Master Naturalists chapter.
